
Gerard is a licensed Illinois attorney and member of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He earned his J.D. from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law and began his legal career as an Assistant State’s Attorney with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, where he gained valuable courtroom and trial experience. Prior to practicing law, Gerard served as a police officer, providing him with a strong foundation in law enforcement and criminal procedure. His background allows him to approach legal issues with insight, discipline, and a practical understanding of the justice system.
