Megan Vazquez

Attorney

Megan is originally from the Northwest side of Chicago but has lived in many parts of the city. While working for Chicago Public Schools, she attended the University of Illinois at Chicago where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology, Law, and Justice. Megan continued her education at DePaul University’s College of Law. During her time in law school she clerked for the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office Felony Gang Crimes Division.

After law school Megan worked for a boutique law practice in Chicago and handled commercial real estate transactions and other corporate matters. In 2021, Megan joined the Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office where she prosecuted traffic, misdemeanor, DUI, and domestic violence matters for almost 2 years.

Today, she represents Driver Defense Team clients in a variety of traffic and DUI defense cases. In her spare time Megan enjoys floral design and movie nights with her son.
